XPE foam sheet

XPE foam sheet (Cross-Linked Polyethylene sheet) is a foam sheet material made by cross-linking polyethylene material. It uses high-density polyethylene as raw material, and through chemical or physical methods to make the molecular chain between the formation of three-dimensional network structure, so as to obtain the foam material with excellent performance. This material is widely used in many fields because of its good physical properties and wide applicability.

Features of XPE foam sheet

  1. Lightweight: XPE foam is very lightweight and easy to transport and install.
  2. waterproof and moisture-proof: its closed-cell structure can effectively block the penetration of moisture, suitable for applications that need to maintain a dry environment.
  3. Strong temperature resistance: XPE foam can maintain stable performance in a wide range of temperatures and is suitable for use in extreme weather conditions.
  4. Good thermal and sound insulation: excellent thermal insulation performance and good sound absorption ability make it an ideal choice for building thermal and sound insulation.
  5. Eco-friendly and non-toxic: No harmful substances are used in the production process, and the product itself does not contain any toxic ingredients, which is friendly to the environment.
  6. soft and elastic: soft and comfortable to touch, and has a certain degree of resilience, not easy to deform.
  7. Easy to process: It can be easily processed by cutting and hot pressing to meet different needs.

Application of XPE foam sheet

  1. Packaging industry: as a cushioning material for electronic products, precision instruments and other valuable packaging protection.
  2. Sports and leisure goods: to make yoga mats, swimming rings, floating boards and other sports equipment.
  3. Building decoration: used as wall insulation layer, roof insulation material or moisture-proof soundproof mat under the floor.
  4. Automobile manufacturing: used in door linings, seat padding, etc. to improve ride comfort.
  5. Medical and health care: It is also commonly found in wheelchair cushions, mattresses and other assistive devices.
  6. Agriculture and Horticulture: It can be used as a mulch material to regulate the soil temperature and humidity during plant cultivation.
