Foam material

Foam material is a lightweight porous material made by physically or chemically causing a large number of tiny air holes to form inside the plastic material. Depending on its raw material, foam wool can be classified into various types such as polyurethane foam (PU), polyethylene foam (PE), and polypropylene foam (PP). Each type of foam wool is widely used in different fields due to its unique properties.

Features

  1. Light weight: Due to the large amount of air inside, the foam wool has a very low density.
  2. Good thermal insulation: good closed cell structure can effectively prevent heat transfer, it is an ideal thermal insulation material.
  3. Good sound absorption: the fine pore structure has a good effect on the absorption of sound waves, can be used to make sound insulation board.
  4. Strong cushioning and shock absorption: soft and elastic properties make it an excellent packaging filler and protective pad.
  5. Water and moisture resistance: some types such as closed cell polyethylene foam have good waterproof performance.
  6. Easy to process and mold: it can be easily changed in shape and size by cutting, hot pressing, etc. to meet various needs.
  7. Low cost: compared with other materials, foam cotton production costs are relatively low.
